A nighttime photo workshop with Christina Craft

A couple of nights ago Nichole and I headed downtown to meet Christina Craft and soak up a ton of information about using and finding available light at night.  I am so happy that I went… for a few reasons. First, because the practical hands on experience that you get at a workshop like this is invaluable and it not only helps me grow and learn new things as a photographer but also helps me to further develop the skills I already have… fantastic right? I also love it because I get to connect with new photographers that I haven’t met yet and I was also able to hang out with Deanna McCollum which was a nice surprise!

We were out and about for 2 hours and it’s amazing what people will tell you as they walk by and see two women in wedding dresses… we met a couple celebrating their anniversary and they explained that they were married 25 years ago at the Crystal Gardens. We also met a man who played the wedding march on his accordion and he’s been married 4 times, is single now and loves his dog.

I have a ton of pictures but for now I’m just sharing these three because I’ve been SO busy. Which, by the way, is fabulous!!

There are many more and hopefully I’ll get to share them over the next couple of weeks.

If you have any questions about the workshop, just let me know. I’d be happy to share more!!

Tracy - Thanks so much Deanna!!! It was great seeing you… we need to do that more often :)

Deanna - Gorgeous work, as always. I can’t wait to see more. It was fun to hang out with you too; it’s been too long.
