The leaves are changing, the air is crisp and the apples are ready for picking. These are all reasons why I love the fall. It’s beautiful. I love being outside in the cool crisp air and then coming in to our warm home and getting cozy. I love hot baths and big sweaters and apple pie. I love this season.
We started it off perfectly on Jonathon’s birthday this past weekend by sending our niece Ella up a ladder to do some apple picking. She was the best darn apple picker out there and I think she loved every single minute of it.
I can’t think of a better way to spend a Sunday afternoon… picking apples with the family. The only one missing was Emma, but don’t worry, she’s having a blast in Ontario at her Dad’s family reunion and will be home in 3 more sleeps. I can hardly wait.
