Some people don’t like birthdays.
I am definitely not one of those people. I am so thankful because even though I may have one or two ‘non-brown’ coloured hairs here and there, I welcome my birthday because I’m getting reeeeeeally close to a big milestone…. about one more year away and you know what? I couldn’t be happier.
I have a happy, healthy loving family made up of Restells,a Fulton, LeDrews and Risingers, Englishs, Burtons, Campbells, Jarmans, Peters’, Morris’, Birklands and Palmers… all who love me unconditionally as a family should.
I have a lovely roof over my head in my most favourite part of this city. I have Cheetos in the cupboard and candy canes on our tree.
I have friends, some are older and some are younger, who keep life fun and unexpected. I have a beautiful daughter who I couldn’t be more proud of and every day I am thankful that I am the one who gets to be her Mom.
And I have a wonderful husband, someone who makes me feel so loved every day. oh love… sigh.
The more birthdays I have, the more people I have around me to celebrate with and I couldn’t ask for anything better.
So definitely don’t be shy and wish me a happy birthday because really, it is a very very happy birthday indeed!
